| Healthcare Reform: Traps for the Unwary | | | Location: | Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America | | Description: | Since the Affordable Care Act was passed in early 2010, there has been a great deal of focus on some of its core elements, such as the individual mandate and improving access to care. However, the 2,000+ pages of the Act and the subsequent, related legislation also contain many provisions that likely will have a significant impact on benefit programs, both in terms of costs to employers and administrative burdens on human resources departments.
This program will address some of the more confusing, but important, provisions for employers in the Affordable Care Act, and offer attendees a roadmap for avoiding potential legal pitfalls as well as practical tips for day-to-day plan administration within the ACA paradigm.
