Katia Gauzès is a partner of Arendt & Medernach where she specialises in private equity and corporate law, advising major international companies, private equity firms and other investors in structuring and financing mergers and acquisitions. She also advises clients on other private equity deals as well as on corporate reorganisations and refinancings.
She has been a member of the Paris Bar (France) since 2002 and of the Luxembourg Bar since 2006.
Katia Gauzès is actively involved within LPEA, the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, where she assists the Executive Committee and the Managing Director. She is also member of the LPEA Legal Technical Committee and the LPEA Promotion Technical Committee.
She is a regular speaker at international seminars and conferences addressing in particular corporate structuring and restructuring. She is also a lecturer at the training sessions of the Luxembourg Institute for Training in Banking (IFBL) dedicated to private equity professionals.
She holds a Master’s degree in business law (Maîtrise droit des affaires) as well as a DESS degree in business law and tax (DESS droit des affaires et fiscalité) from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (France). She also holds an MBA from the business school ESSEC in Paris (France).
