Profile

Ignacio Corbera has pursued his entire professional career at Garrigues, after joining in 1990. Up to February 2011 he was a partner of the Barcelona corporate/commercial law practice. In February 2011 he was appointed partner in charge of the London office, from which he coordinates his clients from the Barcelona office and engagements arising in the London market.

Among other fields, he specializes in M&A, corporate law and commercial contracts, especially with respect to advising international investors with interests in Spain. He has notably participated in transactions (sale and purchase of shares and assets, joint ventures, collaboration and specialization agreements, restructuring, etc.) with an international component, with particular emphasis on English-speaking countries, Italy and Latin America.

Ignacio Corbera is highlighted in Chambers & Partners (Europe) directory as “a great practical lawyer” and “incredibly responsive in going out of his way to meet our needs” providing an “unbelievable level of service”.
