Neil has broad corporate and commercial experience, in particular in the mergers and acquisitions and private equity area. He is also the co-leader of the firm’s Health, Retirement and Ageing team.
Neil has over 15 years experience of buying and selling businesses operating in many different industries, and can assist on all aspects of the process. This includes buying for and selling to Private Equity. Neil also advises clients in the Health and Ageing Industry with their commercial requirements.
Neil advises on all aspects of M&A, private equity, business sale, commercial and business transactions and contracts for a range of private equity players and corporate, SME and start up companies. He also advises on practical governance issues, director responsibilities and strategic issues for his clients. He regularly assists the Minter Ellison banking and financial services team with corporate aspects of banking transactions, in particular the purchase of loan books.
Neil’s clients include Metlifecare, Tunstall Healthcare, Direct Capital, Arowana Capital, Advent Capital, Ritchies Transport, Stolt-Nielsen and Pacific Channel. In addition, Neil leads our partnership with the Medical Technology Association of New Zealand (MTANZ).
