World Services Group is a network that works locally, nationally and internationally. WSG meetings and technology make worldwide opportunities accessible. However, on a national and local level each region has different habits for doing business. It is important to offer benefits focused on the needs of each region and its members.

In general, WSG hosts one focused meeting a year for each region of the world. This way the organization can provide more focused benefits and contribute to the needs of the regional membership as well as international membership. WSG has provided a new approach by having a specific practice area as the primary concentration for the regional meetings. For example, this year’s European regional meeting focused on Mergers and Acquisitions. Participants were able to benefit from other M&A perspectives through networking and presentations. The manageable size of these meetings allows an intimate setting for local members to get to know each other and create new business opportunities that are more difficult to create at large conferences. The North American Region has taken a different approach this year by coordinating an online seminar series to share knowledge for common practices among all disciplines. These seminars extended participation beyond the WSG contacts of member firms to all professionals within the firm.
