Dear WSG friends:
It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I write to you for the first time as Chairman of our
wonderful Organization; And I believe it is wonderful because it brings together a great number of firms
and people of different professional fields and backgrounds, latitudes and races, all with one common
interest that is to multiply our contacts at a first class level, and so better serve our respective clients.
The fact that we can do this within the Organization covering different fields and areas of interest for
our clients is an asset that no other group can offer.
To continue enhancing the advantage of diversity within the Organization, Legal, Accounting and Investment
Banking services are the main objectives for expanding among interdisciplinary services. We have started
successfully thanks to your assistance in suggesting eventual candidates work, but will need to continue
throughout the coming year to meet our eventual goals.
I look forward to increasing the internal awareness of WSG among professionals within our own firms
who are not even aware of the benefits they may so easily obtain directly just by accessing our webpage.
This is why I believe that in this year of great challenges where everyone around the Globe is looking
into their cost structures and marketing plans we must bring to our members (and members-to-be) more
information about the wonderful tool that is WSG. This will enable us all to improve the quality of our
services to our clients. I am counting on all of you to achieve this goal and we will soon see the many benefits.
There are wonderful events organized throughout the year. I urge you not only look towards the Annual Meeting
in Rome in September, but also to the many other events being organized including those by the Regional Councils.
We must also try to take some time off when we travel around the world to visit with the other member firms.
By contacting professionals that we don't generally meet at WSG events, we can expand thus our personal network
of fellow professionals in other practices within the WSG membership.
I am looking forward to seeing many - if not all - of you at the several events throughout 2010.
