Achieving Interdisciplinary Success

WSG's original objective was to provide a comprehensive network of multidisciplinary services for doing business.
The concept was that each service provider could refer the other services to their clients, however without a more
specific vision it has been difficult to fully implement and track. WSG will now be focusing on three specific
services that are more interrelated from basic client relationship to specific transaction issues: Law,
Accounting and Investment Banking.
In these industries, the successful servicing of a client in many circumstances requires consultation with the
other providers; an acquisition can require financing procured by the banker which may depend on an audit
performed by the accountant and an assessment of proprietary rights undertaken by a lawyer. Relationships
developed by common clients, common practices, and common industries create unyielding synergies among the
Legal, Accounting and Investment Banking industries thereby making WSG an extraordinary network of
interdisciplinary services.
WSG's objective is to facilitate the building of these interdisciplinary relationships. Not only does WSG
have the element of indentifying expertise in specific locations, but by focusing on three professions,
industry-centric expertise becomes an additional dimension of membership that offers greater opportunity
for referrals and knowledge exchange.
To emphasize this interdisciplinary focus, there are now two investment banking firms and three accounting
firms represented on the Board of Directors: Investment Banking: Jeff Risius (SRR – Michigan), Ed Dawson
(Capital Alliance – Texas); Accounting: Luis Cifuentes, (Moore Stephens – Venezuela), Diego Salto (AFC – Costa Rica )
and Pablo San Martin (SMS – Argentina). WSG is very excited about the growing success of an interdisciplinary
network and we know having the services well represented will add great value to the interdisciplinary success
of the organization.
