Dear WSG friends:
The second quarter of 2010 has been extremely successful for WSG with multiple activities and projects and the
incorporation of new members. Our very active Latin American and European Regional Councils held very high profile
conferences in each of their regions characterized by high attendance, captivating panels with high energy discussions
and effective networking and social activities. Our newest committees, the recently formed Asia/Pacific and African
Councils also held regional meetings with great success in Singapore and South Africa. These successful meetings and
committees have confirmed WSG as the largest network in Europe, Africa and South America.
Other equally successful networking events focused on practice areas took place in Boston, Massachusetts on
occasion of the INTA annual meeting and in Luxemburg during the EELA conference.
In concluding this year of activity, there are several very exciting events planned including the annual networking
luncheon at the ABA meeting on August 6th in San Francisco, CA, our main event, the WSG Annual Meeting taking place
in Rome in September, in October many of our members will be attending the traditional networking lunch at the
International Bar Association's annual conference taking place in Vancouver, BC, Canada. All three of these are
very significant opportunities for our membership to interact and take advantage of the many WSG opportunities held
throughout the year. We sincerely encourage all of you to join us at these great events and look forward to meeting
you there, this being the best way to get to know our fellow members and explore the business opportunities we were
all seeking when we joined.
Additionally, I am very happy to extend a very warm welcome to our new legal member Engling Stritter & Partners of
Namibia, who joined us during this quarter. Welcome on board!
