Profile

Brett Bostrom merges his experience in a variety of technologies such as rocket propulsion and laser imaging with his experience to assist clients in acquiring and enforcing patents.

Brett’s practice focuses on prosecuting patents before the U.S. Patent Office for medical devices and imaging technologies. It is his priority to understand the details and subtleties of his clients’ technologies to create the strongest patent protection possible. During law school, Brett served as the editor-in-chief of his school’s intellectual property periodical, IP Theory, and was a student associate for the school’s pro bono intellectual property clinic.

Prior to his legal career with Haynes and Boone, Brett was an industrial engineer for a global automotive safety company, and an R&D intern for a rocket propulsion company. In his civic life, Brett serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.
