While earning her law degree, Cate worked at Haynes and Boone as a Scientific Advisor prosecuting domestic and international patent applications related to the chemical arts and semiconductor technology.
Prior to joining the firm, Cate worked for over a decade as a process development engineer at one of the worldâ€™s leading semiconductor and MEMS manufacturing companies. She has extensive experience in many areas of device fabrication including films, ion-implantation, plasma and wet-chemical etching, production and quality control, micro-machining, and laser ablation.
Cate holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and is a certified TRIZ practitioner.
