While enrolled at the University of Michigan Law School, David served as a volunteer student attorney for the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project, a non-profit organization providing free unemployment insurance advocacy, advice and assistance to Michigan workers. In his student attorney role, he represented clients at administrative hearings, conducting motion practice and witness examination. He also drafted briefs for district courts and prepared clients for hearings.
