Diana Briones specializes in the regulation of public utilities and infrastructure for public use, with special emphasis on energy, sanitation, telecommunications, transport infrastructure and dispute resolution in these sectors.

Diana Briones specializes in the regulation of public utilities and infrastructure for public use, with special emphasis on energy, sanitation, telecommunications and the development of transport infrastructure projects. Diana’s experience is transversal with respect to the design, financing, construction and operation of projects for the provision of public utilities and infrastructure, both by private and state initiative, under various legal schemes. In addition, Diana has experience in acquisition and project finance transactions in these sectors, as well as in the resolution of regulatory disputes.

She has been an intern at the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia (2014) and an international lawyer at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in Madrid (2014-2016), where she was part of the corporate law and international arbitration areas.

Additionally, Diana has been a teaching assistant at Universidad de Lima and Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
