Profile

Hannelie la Grange is an associate in ENSafrica’s tax department. She specialises in employees’ tax and income tax for individuals and trusts, as well as international tax aspects.

Her experience includes assisting South African and multinational clients in the establishment and ongoing management of their South African and offshore trusts, as well as advising on the relevant exchange control regulations and disclosure requirements in terms of international exchange of information conventions and agreements.

Hannelie also advises individuals who wish to relocate to or from South Africa, particularly on the remittance of their funds as well as the related tax and exchange control considerations. She also assists in obtaining the necessary certificates and approvals from the South African Revenue Service (“SARS”) and the South African Reserve Bank.
 
In addition, Hannelie is experienced in the tax aspects of employee incentive schemes, expatriate tax planning and the application of double taxation agreements.

She has also assisted clients in their negotiations with SARS during the alternative dispute resolution process.
