Helgi Thor Torsteinsson is an attorney qualified before the district court. Helgi Thor started at LEX prior to his graduation from law school in 2007 and has been with the firm ever since. Helgi Thor was on leave from LEX during his LL.M. studies in international financial law at King's College London from 2011-2012.

For most of his career, Helgi Thor has been a member of the banking and finance team at LEX. In the course of his work, Helgi Thor's primary emphasis has been on advising on financings, capital markets and company law. Helgi Thor has been involved in a significant number of loan financings and securities issuances, in addition to having advised on the structure, financing, and buying and selling of companies. Helgi Thor is an experienced litigator before the district court and has been involved in trying cases before the EFTA Court.
