Sarah advises clients on construction and development projects, acting for owners, contractors and funders, advising on a range of contracting structures, procurement models and risk sharing arrangements. Sarah also has particular expertise as a transactional and projects lawyer in energy work including upstream oil and gas, joint venture and consortium arrangements, power generation (thermal and renewable), fuel contracting and transmission arrangements, sales and hedging, regulatory issues, and access to infrastructure.
As a corporate and commercial lawyer Sarah advises on a range of issues including business / asset acquisition and divestments, tendering advice, negotiation of contracts for capital works projects, supply contracts, service provider and consultancy arrangements, IP arrangements (including for development and commercialisation of IP rights, licensing agreements and research and development arrangements), supply and maintenance arrangements and major capital works programme contracts.
