International Finance Corporation (IFC) Retains Vouga in the Granting of a US$ 30 Million Loan to Sudameris Bank in Paraguay

Vouga Abogados represented International Finance Corporation in the granting a loan facility for an amount of up to USD 30 Million to Sudameris Bank in Paraguay. The purpose of the Loan is to provide the Borrower with a renewable short term loan to be used to finance its lending operations to eligible sub-borrowers, through the origination of a pool of eligible sub-loans secured by acceptable warehouse receipts.
The loan granted by IFC to Sudameris will enable the latter to provide funding to the fastest emerging sector in Paraguay, and the one that sustains the country’s economy.
The firm advised in all issues related to local laws and the agreement was finally executed on February 12.
