Deacons advises Chongbang Holdings on its US$920 million institutional capital raising

(24 June 2015 – Hong Kong) Deacons recently advised Chongbang Holdings (International) Limited on its close to US$920 million institutional capital raising from, among others, Canadian real estate company Ivanhoe Cambridge and Dutch pension asset manager APG Asset Management N.V..

Chongbang is a leading Shanghai-focused developer, owner and operator of retail-anchored mixed use projects. This is the second institutional capital raising for Chongbang, which was created in Hong Kong by Singaporean and Hong Kong investors in 2003.

Rhoda Yung, corporate finance partner, led on the transaction and was supported by corporate finance lawyers James Fairley, Helen Wong, Queena Chow, Zhong Xiaoming, Jovita Law and Gilbert Chan.

Teresa Lau, a banking & finance partner and associate Farrah Lam also featured on the transaction.
