Which? has launched a conveyancing service in partnership with national law firm, Shoosmiths. Aiming to address high level of customer dissatisfaction in the legal services market, Which? Conveyancing offers guidance and support for customers throughout their transaction.

The service includes a website (which.co.uk/conveyancing) which contains step-by-step advice guides explaining the process involved in buying and selling property, remortgaging and extending a lease.

Visitors to the site can also get an instant online quote for their conveyancing from Shoosmiths through the Which? website.

Customers will have access to key benefits including telephone and email support, a personalised progress tracker and a dedicated member of Shoosmiths’ staff to handle their transaction.

Shoosmiths was chosen as a Which?’s preferred partner following a rigorous selection process and a six month pilot.

Darren Stott, managing director of Which? Legal commented: ‘Which? has lots of advice to help consumers through the home-moving process and now we can also offer them a reliable conveyancing service through our preferred partner. As part of the wider range of advice and services we offer home movers, we aim to make this complex market easier to navigate for consumers.’
