Haynes and Boone Advises Rmax Operating in Sale to Sika

A team of Haynes and Boone, LLP lawyers from three offices advised Rmax Operating, LLC, a market leader in building insulation technology for more than 37 years, in its agreement to be sold to Sika Corporation.

Rmax, a family-owned entity that is part of the Hart Group of companies, had more than $75 million in sales in 2016 and is a market leader in the production of polyiso insulation products for complete building envelope solutions.

The Haynes and Boone mergers and acquisitions team was headed by Dallas Partner Jan Sharry with assistance from Anthony Montague and Catherine Peterman. Others at Haynes and Boone assisting included Susan Wetzel, Chris Kang and Scott Thompson (Benefits); Melissa Goodman and Janet Ayyad Ismail (Labor); Michael Threet and Christina Heddesheimer (Tax); Mary Mendoza (Environmental); Gavin George and Marc Legrand (Intellectual Property); Sue Murphy (Finance); Keenan Kolendo and Andre Ferrari (Real Estate); David Taubenfeld (Insurance); and Jonathan Pressment and George Graves (Litigation).

The transaction is subject to clearance by antitrust authorities.

Headquartered in Dallas, Rmax has production facilities in Dallas, South Carolina and Nevada that produce polyiso insulation products and accessories used in both commercial and residential wall and roof applications throughout the U.S.
