BTI Ranks Haynes and Boone Among Nation's Leading Litigation Firms

September, 2017 - Dallas, Texas

BTI Consulting Group, Inc., has recognized Haynes and Boone, LLP on the Litigation Powerhouse Honor Roll as a leading law firm for Complex Commercial Litigation.

A September report by BTI, titled "Litigation Powerhouses: Law Firms Leading the Litigation Market," spotlights firms that are "the ones corporate counsel tell us they are currently turning to for their most pressing litigation needs."

The BTI report is based on in-depth telephone interviews with leading legal decision makers at large organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue. The litigation results were based on 350 interviews conducted between Feb. 20 and July 3, 2017. The research is independent and unbiased: no law firm or organization other than BTI sponsors the studies.

Haynes and Boone's Litigation Department includes more than 100 lawyers who handle commercial litigation of all sizes, understanding that any matter can be "bet-the-company" depending on the client.

The firm represents industry leaders including Bank of America, Toyota, Tenet Healthcare, Trinity Industries, Shell, ExxonMobil, AT&T, Goldman Sachs & Co. and Halliburton; high-visibility clients such as the National Football League; and a wide variety of other clients: banks, financial services firms, energy companies, manufacturers, technology and software companies, real estate firms; nonprofit institutions; and municipalities and public school districts.

Haynes and Boone lawyers' experience runs the gamut of issues and legal fields, from multistate climate-change litigation and complex employment-discrimination cases to oil and gas litigation, intellectual property disputes and high-profile class actions.

Earlier this year, the 2017 BTI Industry Power Rankings designated Haynes and Boone as a "Leading Recommended" firm for the energy industry, ranking among the top three percent of all law firms in the field. That report recognized Haynes and Boone as among the select firms with "unparalleled client relationships."

A separate report, "BTI Brand Elite 2017," ranked Haynes and Boone among the nation's most recognized law firms in a number of key categories, including as a "tech-savvy" firm that is regularly "short-listed" by corporate counsel when deciding which firms to hire for new assignments.
