Juan Manuel Albacete, lawyer, mainly works in the Banking and Corporate Department and Tax Department. He is Assistant Professor of Tax Law at the University of Uruguay, School of Law. He is Professor in postgraduate courses in Taxation at the Catholic University. He is member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He is President of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies. He has spoken at various seminars and conferences on tax issues and has written various articles of his specialty. His experience in taxation, agreements related to the public sector and financing transactions have led him to participate in an advisory capacity in the most important calls made by the State (including privatizations), advising in bond offerings, advising in relation to the public sector, financial and investment structuring, trusts, advising pension and investment funds and bank transactions in general.
