ProfileSpecialised in commercial dispute resolution, Gary has an impressive 30 years' of experience successfully handling major litigation for government agencies, universities, financial institutions, major retailers, property developers, manufacturers and construction companies. He has extensive experience in federal and state courts, tribunals, arbitrations, commissions and inquiries and alternative dispute resolution processes, especially mediation. Gary has particular expertise in resolving disputes relating to partnerships and joint ventures, security enforcement, corporate fraud and shareholder agreements, and property and commercial retail lease disputes for both landlords and tenants. Apart from court and tribunal work, he provides clients with advice on private international law, corporations law, administrative law, product liability, freedom of information legislation, trade practices, contract disputes, will and estates disputes, real property law and security enforcement. His longstanding clients include Commonwealth Bank Group, Brookfield, Challenger, Toll, and Jones Lang LaSalle. Gary is the co-author of Minter Ellison's 'Retail Leases Handbook: an annotated reference of the legislation affecting retail leases and tenancy claims in New South Wales' (now in its third edition). Gary is a Councillor of the Law Society of New South Wales. He also Chairs the Law Society's Litigation, Law and Practice Committee and is a member of the Society's Professional Conduct Committee.
