He was a head member of the team of lawyers during the years when his Firm was the Argentine Special Counsel of the international banking community in respect of the renegotiations of the Argentine foreign debt and led the majority of the teams that dealt with the corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, complex financing agreements and privatizations entrusted to Estudio Beccar Varela, many of which were the largest deals on Argentine records.

Professional Career
Significant Accomplishments A grandson of the Firm's founder, he is partner of the Firm since 1971. In 1986 he was elected Senior Partner (Chairman of the Committee) of the Firm and continues to discharge this position. In such capacity his principal activity relates to the coordination and quality assurance of the professional work of the Firm. In 1967/68 he practised as a foreign associate at the firm of Casey Lane & Mittendorff in New York, N.Y. During 1969 he was the Director of Hearings assisting the Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1972 he was foreign visiting assistant professor and at the same time attended graduate courses at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, U.S.A. Professional Associations
