Freeke has a broad experience in the commercial (litigation) practice and mainly assists clients active in the maritime and aviation industry. She is part-time lecturer at the University of the Netherlands Antilles for maritime and transportation law and has lectured at the 'Fifth International Ship Arrest Conference' in London in December 1999, IBA conference 'The Practice of Law in the Americas - Challenging Times' in Panama in March 2004, the 'Tenth Annual Bunkering in the Americas Conference' in Curacao in November 2005 and the 'International Maritime Law Conference' in Dubai in February 2006.
