Since its creation, the firm has demonstrated an international vocation which today is based on the principle of "elective affinity". To assist its clients in their international operations, JeantetAssocies favours alliances with leading independent firms in each country, working with different firms depending on the issue at hand. According to Yvon Dreano "This selective strategy allows us to provide the most suitable service to our clients and reduces the problems of conflicts of interest."
In order to serve clients in cross-border transactions or represent them in international disputes, JeantetAssociés maintains close relations with the best independent law firms worldwide and owns an office in Morocco (Casablanca), thus entering new markets in liaison with Jeantet's Mediterranean Desk.
Strengthen by its past 16 years experience in Africa and Middle Est through its Energy and Natural Resources activities, the firm is particularly committed to develop its capabilities particularly in the Mediterranean rim countries, in China and in India.
Furthermore, JeantetAssocies belongs to The Energy Law Group, founded by partner Thierry Lauriol, brings together 250 lawyers split between 23 European law firms specialised in national and European law concerning energy and natural resources.
A stable Gouvernance
The firm is run by a Management Board composed of three partners. Currently, its members are Loraine Donnedieu de Vabres-Tranie Yvon Dreano and Philippe Portier.
Offices designed for creation and innovation
The firm's offices are located in the centre of Paris, next to the Trocadero. In 2006, the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte was commissioned to create the Meeting Space which now occupies an entire floor of our Haussman-era period building. Its space, luminosity and harmony of tones provide a sensation of serenity, which is ideal for work and "creative concentration".
