* Trustees of an income fund on their response to an unsolicited take-over bid for a majority of the outstanding units

* A society on the special meeting of members to approve the proposed sale of a community television network
* A gold mining company on purchase of the interest of a majority joint venturer in a Chilean gold property
* An integrated forest products company on a joint venture to build and operate an oriented strand board facility in a limited partnership
* A special committee of directors on the merger by arrangement of two diamond mining companies
* A gold mining exploration and development company on a proposed joint venture in Russia
