Laura practises in the areas of commercial and administrative litigation and has acted on behalf of clients in a broad range of cases involving commercial, real estate and environmental issues. Her experience includes matters involving real estate development, shareholder remedies, commercial leases, trust claims, professional negligence and natural resource projects. Laura has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia, and has also acted in private arbitrations and administrative settings.

Professional Activities and Experience
Prior to law school Laura had a career in public service. For several years she was a consultant for the Federal Government on matters relating to aboriginal rights and title claims. Laura also worked as a policy analyst for a commission in the UK where she assisted in the development of the policy framework for the independent investigation of complaints against the police.
