Several states have recently enacted aggressive equal pay laws, and while revised equal pay legislation has largely stalled in Congress, the U.S. Department of Labor has released new regulations which target gender bias by federal contractors and has proposed changes to the EEO-1 form to seek information about pay disparities in the workplace.
