Asters USA PLLC focuses on cross-border investigations and disputes and commercial and regulatory matters involving Ukraine.

The DC office works in unison with our "best friend" law firms in the United States and coordinates the growing amount of work in North America for both our multinational and domestic clients, assists in particular American companies with all aspects of doing business in Ukraine, and Ukrainian companies with expanding overseas.

The office is managed by Andrew Mac, who is an American lawyer practicing for 20 years, 10 of which were in Ukraine. He splits his time between Washington and Kyiv.

Asters advises JSC Ukrainian Railways on USD 895 million Eurobonds restructuring

Asters advises EBRD on EUR 10 million financing for Grain Alliance Group

Asters acts as a legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in connection with its EUR 10 million financing for Grain Alliance Group, a Swedish-owned large-sized agricultural holding in Ukraine that cultivates around 60,000 hectares of land. The loan will be used to improve and expand export capacity for grain, which was disrupted as a result of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
