Todd Anders is a Partner with GuideCap with significant mergers & acquisitions experience and expertise in structuring, negotiation, and international strategies. Prior to GuideCap Partners, Mr. Anders was the Executive Director of International Investment Strategies, leading the mergers and acquisitions efforts, for the Carlson Companies, a $30 billion company with holdings in hotels, restaurants, travel and hospitality. During his tenure with Carlson, Mr. Anders was charged with international expansion, which was accomplished through direct foreign investment, strategic partnerships, franchising, and acquisitions in over 50 countries. Previously, Mr. Anders practiced securities law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and general business representation. Mr. Anders has served as adjunct professor of Business Law at Southern Methodist University. He received his B.S. in Business and B.A. in Economics from Centenary College of Louisiana, his J.D. from Baylor University Law School, and his M.B.A. and L.L.M. from Southern Methodist University.
