Dear WSG Members,

It has been my honor to have represented the European region on the Board and Executive Committee for the past three years. And now, I am especially honored to be the Chairman of WSG for this coming year. I will do my best to follow in the steps of Mark Harty and the other past Chairmen. Because of the work of those before me, World Services Group is today a very strong and vibrant organization.

During my term as Chairman, I intend to focus on four main things. The first is to continue the efforts to increase brand awareness globally both for WSG as a Network and for individual firms. We have made great progress in this area. WSG is a recognized player and is getting much better recognition as such, but these efforts need to continue to be a priority.

My second priority is to continue the development of the presence of WSG in North America inclusive of a regional structure where it makes sense. This will ensure leading access throughout the entire region and possibly create a change to our membership fee structure. The ultimate objective is to have full coverage throughout the region for our clients.

My third priority is to focus on the continued expansion of WSG knowledge and participation within the network by partners within the member firms. These can be achieved through larger involvement in WSG activities such as practice groups, the organization of joint seminars in the various geographical areas and increased distribution of information to members.

My fourth priority is to work on preparing more active business development activities undertaken both by corporate headquarters and by individual firms with the objective of selling the services of members and creating a process for joint bids to clients for international opportunities. This approach would include the involvement of as many firms belonging to the Network as possible.

With all of these priorities, I will need your help. So, I ask for your continued participation. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed. Thank you again for your continued support and your trust in my leadership throughout the coming year.
