Profile

Todd C. Schebor's practice focuses on regulatory, commercial and litigation matters involving environmental law and real estate law, and he is a member of the Firm's Automotive Industry Group and Energy Industry Group. He has experience dealing with cleanups (CERCLA, RCRA, and Michigan's Part 201 and 213 programs), underground storage tanks, waste management, mobile source air emissions, water discharge, wetland and property use requirements, facility closures, business and property sales and leases, cost recovery litigation, environmental management, multiparty cleanup projects, domestic and international e-waste requirements, zoning, easements, groundwater ordinances, special land uses, condemnation/takings, and electricity utility right-of-way acquisition projects. 

Mr. Schebor is highly educated in the area of environmental matters. While attending the University of Michigan, Mr. Schebor obtained his Bachelor of Science from the School of Natural Resources and Environment with a concentration in Environmental Policy. After obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Schebor went on to obtain a Master of Laws in Environmental and Natural Resources Law at the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College, located in Portland, Oregon.

Prior to joining Dykema, Mr. Schebor was a legal intern for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor in Portland, Oregon. While in law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Karen Nelson Moore, U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit and a law clerk for a firm in Cleveland, Ohio.
