Ms. Pellerano advises local and international companies in connection with project financing and corporate matters, she also has broad experience on transactions involving corporations, off shore and incorporations of companies, real estate, including acquisition, financing and disposition.

She is experienced in structuring business transactions so as to address both local and global challenges, especially in mergers and acquisitions, project financing and corporate restructurings. Over the last years, she has participated in highly complex business deals in the Dominican Republic.

Some representative transactions include:

Assistance to Barrick Gold Corporation, the largest gold producer in the world, with their complete installation and operation of the Pueblo Viejo gold mine project. The project, valued at US$2.7 billion, is the largest foreign investment project in the Dominican Republic. As part of the project, Ms. Pellerano and the team has advised Barrick in:
The purchase of two power barges (barcazas) for US$70 million.
The US$60 million acquisition of the Monterío energy generation plant.
A real estate investment of US$45 million for an extension of their mining project in Las Lagunas.

Assistance to IFC in the US$40 million finance for the expansion of the Punta Cana airport, one of the main airports in the Dominican Republic.

Counsel the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) in a US$56 million loan to Sol Group, for the purchase of Shell's 340 gas pumps in the Dominican Republic.
