Tereza Kristic is a member of the firm's Business law and Intellectual property groups. She practises mainly in the areas of business law and business transactions, where she is called upon to draft, negotiate, and review business agreements such as sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, as well as service agreements.
Ms. Kristic has also acquired expertise in intellectual property and advises companies on issues related to trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, and domain names. She also drafts and negotiates licensing agreements, co-existence agreements, and intellectual property assignment agreements.
Before joining Lavery, Ms. Kristic clerked at The Court of Appeal, having previously completed her articles at an international mining company. She also taught legal research at the Université de Sherbrooke law faculty.
