Ann Mary handles civil and regulatory litigation for health care industry clients and providers of long-term care services. She represents health care providers and senior care communities in administrative proceedings and litigation in a wide variety of matters, including appeals of regulatory citations, deficiencies, and licensure actions. Ann Mary handles cases through all phases of litigation: discovery, law and motion practice, mediation, arbitration, administrative hearings, trials, writs, and appeals.
Ann Mary also advises medical staffs, medical groups, and hospitals on credentialing and peer review matters. She represents medical staffs in peer review hearings and defends hospitals, medical staffs, and medical staff leaders in litigation arising from peer review activities.
Ann Mary has experience defending state and federal class actions, including securities fraud and consumer products litigation. She has also assisted individuals and entities in connection with SEC inquiries and investigations.
