KSB partner and co-head of KSB's Capital Markets and Banking & Finance practices, Martin Krejčí is experienced in domestic as well as cross-border transactions and has been recognized by Chambers & Partners, IFLR1000 and Legal 500.
As regards recent transactions, Martin advised O2 Czech Republic (the largest telecommunications operator in the Czech Republic) on new syndicated financing, Arete Invest (real estate fund) on refinancing 11 real estate companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and one of the participants in the tender for the D4 motorway PPP project. He also continued to provide legal services to J&T Banka during various cross-border as well as domestic transactions (including real estate transactions and distressed transactions). Martin also advised Mattoni 1873 (largest producer of mineral water in Central Europe) regarding the financing of acquisition of Pepsi’s operations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, and on financing of the acquisition of Knjaz Miloš, the largest producer of mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages in Serbia and the surrounding region. In the area of Capital Markets, Martin recently advised J&T Finance Group during the issuance of perpetual bonds accountable as AT1 capital, and J&T IB and Capital Markets as the arranger of numerous bond issues.
Martin has acted for many financial institutions, including the Czech National Bank, Česká spořitelna (Erste Group), Gorenjska banka, Bank of Ireland, Banka Creditas, Barclays Bank, Citibank, Raiffeisen Bank, and Wüstenrot.
