Alejandra has over 15 years of experience in the legal profession. She specializes in Tax and Customs practice areas, where she has experience in providing advice, counseling, and litigation, and has been involved in the coordination of inspection procedures, tax, and customs litigation, before both administrative authorities and courts. Alejandra joined BLP in 2013, after being a legal counsel at the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promoter (PROCOMER). She also worked as a lawyer at the General Customs Board of the Ministry of Finance of Costa Rica and as an associate at the firms Oller Abogados and KPMG. Alejandra obtained her Law degree from Universidad Fidélitas in 2002, a Master’s degree in Corporate Tax Advisory from ULACIT in 2010, and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from ULACIT in 2012. Alejandra currently lives in San José, Costa Rica.
