Young-Eun focuses her practice in the areas of banking litigation, fiduciary and estate litigation, contract disputes, commercial and residential real estate litigation, and appellate proceedings before the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She has spent much of her career representing a wide range of companies, from smaller local businesses to well-known brands in the manufacturing, trust, insurance, banking, and real estate industries. She also has experience handling and defending a variety of consumer finance claims, including creditors’ rights and individual and class action FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and EFTA compliance and defense. Additionally, Young-Eun handles and supervises document review teams on a diverse range of e-discovery issues, whether the needs involve a smaller, targeted review or complex matters spanning multiple subject matters and jurisdictions.
She is well versed in the nuances of litigation strategy and is experienced in handling all stages of a case, from the initial complaint to all ranges of discovery matters and trial. Young-Eun has won various dispositive motions on behalf of various clients in both state and federal courts within and outside of Kentucky and has received favorable opinions from the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Board of Immigration Appeals. Her practice spans various regions outside of Kentucky, including appearances and participation in cases in state and federal courts in Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio.
Prior to attending law school, Young-Eun taught English as a Second Language and Spanish with the Denver Public Schools for three years.
