Profile

Salvatore Spagnuolo is an expert in competition law, market regulation and consumer protection.

He is regularly involved in high profile cases concerning cartels, abuse of dominance and merger control before Competition Authorities as well as administrative and Civil Courts (e.g. annulment actions, damages actions).

His practice covers the whole range of antitrust issues, including merger and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution agreements and antitrust compliance programs.

Salvatore also has a significant experience in the field of unfair commercial practices.

He assists Italian and foreign clients active in several sectors, with a special focus on TLC, media, banking, financial, insurance, pharma, transportation. 

Salvatore graduated in Law "maxima cum laude" from the University LUISS Guido Carli in Rome in 2002. He obtained a Master’s degree in antitrust and market regulation from the Centre for Economics and International Studies of the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2004 and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2007.

Salvatore is a member of the Cosenza Bar (admitted to practice also before the Council of State and Court of Cassation) and of the New York Bar. 

He speaks Italian and English.
