Claire Johnson's primary practice is environmental law. She represents clients navigating environmental regulatory compliance, litigation and corporate due diligence. She has experience in several different environmental arenas, including the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, FIFRA, CERCLA/Superfund and state counterparts. Claire also assists multi-family housing clients in mold litigation prevention and indoor environmental quality issues.
Aside from her environmental law practice, Claire provides guidance on real estate matters and related research questions.
Claire graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was development editor for the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review, was on the staff of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and served as president of the Energy and Environmental Law Society. She received her B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resources with a concentration in resource economics and policy and a minor in Business Administration from Clemson University.
