Profile

Randall Manvitz routinely represents companies in business disputes including allegations of consumer fraud and unfair business practices, breach of contract, unlawful mortgage lending and servicing practices, and employment disputes such as wrongful termination. He litigates matters in state and federal court and in mediation and arbitration. In addition, Mr. Manvitz advises both small and large companies on day-to-day legal matters ranging from risk management to real estate and employment matters. In today’s economy more than ever, his clients appreciate his ability to negotiate business solutions in an effort to minimize litigation costs.

Mr. Manvitz is an avid adventure traveler, spending a considerable amount of time in East and West Africa, India, the Middle-East, Europe, and Central and South America.

Significant Accomplishments
  • Represented one of the nation’s largest lenders in lawsuits brought by thousands of borrowers in nationwide litigation and favorably resolved a significant number of class actions and hundreds of individual lawsuits.
  • Handled hundreds of third-party claims against title underwriters for claims by mortgage lenders based on closing protection letters.
  • Represented major financial institution in breach of fiduciary duty trade secrets matter that resulted in favorable $47 million payment to client.
  • Defended bank in lawsuit by borrower claiming over $200 million in damages. Obtained defense verdict and foreclosed on $15 million of real estate around the nation. Successfully defended the arbitration award before the trial court and Court of Appeal.
