Mr. Liao joined Han Kun Law Offices as a partner in 2015. Before that time, he had practiced in other leading international and PRC law firms for more than 13 years.

Mr. Liao specializes in commercial dispute resolution. Mr. Liao is skilled in advising on both overall planning and detail-oriented strategies in commercial dispute resolution matters through his clear thinking and forward-looking analysis. Mr. Liao is dedicated to protecting his clients' interests to the greatest extent through his deep legal knowledge and resourceful connections. In recent years, Mr. Liao has successfully represented a number of domestic and international clients in a broad variety of disputes, including share transfer disputes, joint venture disputes, commercial property leasing disputes, product liability disputes, company dissolution and liquidation disputes, international goods sales contract disputes, construction contract disputes, IP infringement and anti-unfair competition disputes, and financial loan disputes.

Mr. Liao is often invited by NGOs, foundations, universities, chambers of commerce, industry associations and other organizations to give lectures on specific legal topics.
