Profile

Alejandro Beigveder is the partner responsible for the Garrigues office in Málaga. He is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Department of Garrigues and heads this practice area in Andalucía and Canary Islands. He has pursued his entire professional career in the firm since joining Arthur Andersen ALT in 1992.
His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, company law and commercial contracts, having advised Spanish and international groups on M&A deals and restructuring and private equity transactions in the financial, real estate, hospitality and IT industries, among others.
He also provides recurring advice on corporate services, acting as Board Secretary at various first-rate regional companies, as well as international companies operating in Málaga.
Alejandro Beigveder has been named “Lawyer of the year 2014, 2015 and 2018” by the international directory Best Lawyers, in the “Corporate and M&A” practice area in Málaga.
He has been a lecturer at Escuela de Práctica Jurídica of the Malaga Bar Association, Escuela Superior de Estudios de Empresa de Málaga (ESESA) and Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (Advanced Courses in Company Law and Arbitration), having also spoken at various conferences on the subject of corporate/commercial and business law, including the Malaga Law Congress staged in 2010.

Honorific collaborator in the Special Private Law Department at Universidad de Málaga.
He is a member of the Malaga Bar Association, and was appointed Representative of its Governing Body between 2003 and 2006, and was Deputy Chairman of the Arbitral Tribunal Foundation of the Malaga Bar Association from its formation back in 2005 until 2012.
