Profile
Mr. García joined the firm in 2002. He leads the firm's Antitrust and Competition Law practice, and has experience in all areas of antitrust law, including merger control, cartels and leniency, abuse of dominance, and unfair competition. Adding to his Antitrust practice, as a member of the firm's Corporate and M&A team, Mr. García advises important local and foreign companies in connection with the structure, negotiation and closing of M&A transactions. Mr. Garcia is admitted to practice in Colombia (2005) and in the state of New York (2009).

Mr. García also holds a B.S. degree in Military Sciences with the rank of Second Lieutenant (EJC-Rsv.) from the Colombian Army's Military Academy, as well as a law degree from the School of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a LL.M degree from the School of Law of New York University.
