Profile

Anna-Bryce Hobson is an associate in the Construction Practice Group. She represents general contractors and subcontractors engaged in a variety of construction projects. Her primary focus is on public and private commercial construction disputes, whether they be in the form of lien actions, delay claims, general breach of contract disputes, or other construction-related claims. Anna-Bryce also assists clients in drafting and negotiating their construction contracts.

Prior to starting at Bradley, Anna-Bryce served as a law clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina for 18 months. She enjoys using her background in the bankruptcy court and understanding of bankruptcy law to supplement her construction practice. Anna-Bryce advises construction clients on the unique bankruptcy issues that confront construction industry professionals on a construction project and often assists clients in pursuing collections actions. Anna-Bryce also presents on the treatment of construction claims under the Bankruptcy Code and the unique traits of construction claims once they enter the purview of a bankruptcy court. Anna-Bryce also practices in Bradley’s Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights Practice Group and regularly advises clients on the treatment of their claims in the bankruptcy process.

Anna-Bryce received her J.D. (cum laude) from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was senior notes and comments editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property and a member of the Wake Forest Moot Court Board. She also served as president of the Wake Forest Trial Bar Association and as captain of the Wake Forest AAJ Trial Team. Anna-Bryce received the 2018 Robert Goldberg Award in Trial Advocacy from Wake Forest Law, an award given to the student showcasing the highest aptitude and ethics in trial advocacy in their graduating class. During law school, Anna-Bryce interned for the Hon. J. Michelle Childs of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Hon. Mark Davis of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Anna-Bryce earned a B.S. in Politics with a concentration in East Asian Studies and History from New York University.
