Anna Claire focuses her practice on environmental, health, and safety issues. Her experience includes assisting clients on environmental issues in the context of business transactions and compliance counseling. She advises clients on how to comply with both federal and state environmental and employee safety regulations. She also regularly represents clients in environmental litigation and compliance counseling matters under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and other environmental statutes. In particular, she has defended clients against environmental enforcement initiatives directed at electric utilities. She also has experience assisting clients with environmental due diligence matters related to transactions, such as reviewing Phase I and II reports.

She also helps clients respond to Occupational Safety and Health Administration enforcement actions and has experience in many aspects of discovery and trial preparation, including factual investigation, drafting motions and discovery requests, and witness preparation.
