Profile

Candice focuses her practice on litigation matters and represents both public and private sector clients. She represents policyholders in insurance recovery disputes in first-party and third-party actions. Candice also represents public agencies in disputes brought by constituents and employees, as well as in eminent domain actions.

Candice has experience litigating the interpretation of contracts related to employment, business relationships, and leases. She has litigated trade secret disputes, and she has helped resolve disputes in arbitration.

Candice’s pro bono work includes securing permanent residence for an asylee and assisting a mobile home owner in a dispute against the park owner.

As a law student, she externed for the Honorable Alan Jaroslovsky, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California.

Prior to law school, Candice was a journalist for nine years. She was a reporter and editor for the Orange County Register and the Mountain View Voice.
