Maria Teresa Mendoza is a Partner at Morgan & Morgan and chairs the Labor Practice Group. Her expertise includes more than 20 years of advising local companies and multinational corporations on all labor and employment matters, including compensation and benefits for employees, internal regulations, treatment of expatriate executives, mergers and acquisitions, labor due diligence and social security, among others.

Mrs. Mendoza holds a Degree in Law and Political Sciences from the Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua in Panama (J.D. equivalent); and obtained Postgraduate Degree in Labor Law from Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua and Commercial Law, from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. She also regularly participates as speaker at labor law seminars.

Mrs. Mendoza is admitted to practice law in the Republic of Panama, and is also an active member of the National Minimum Wage Commission.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mrs. Mendoza was first a Partner for 18 years at a local firm dedicated to labor law, and then, it became Partner at a consulting regional firm specializing in corporate labor counsel and related affairs, for 4 years.
