Profile

Matt provides an array of corporate legal services but focuses his practice on buy- and sell-side public and private mergers and acquisitions, asset dispositions, corporate finance transactions, securitization transactions, and corporate governance matters. He assists target companies, purchasers, and private equity sponsors in purchase and sale transactions. Matt also works with corporate borrowers and financial institutions on asset-based loan arrangements and other credit facilities.

Matt has represented a wide range of clients, including strategic buyers and sellers, private equity firms, financial institutions, and operational companies in various sectors, including the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, health care, gaming, energy, and construction industries.

In addition, Matt maintains an active pro bono practice. Accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans for the purpose of preparing, presenting, and prosecuting claims before the department, Matt assists veterans with disability compensation benefit claims.
