Marí­a Beatriz Viera, certified public accountant, works mainly in the Tax Department. She holds a Master degree in Tax Law and Technique from the University of Montevideo (2001). She is a member of the Association of Economic Science Ph D's and Accountants of Uruguay and also of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies. Her practice includes tax advice and accounting services to corporations (performing activities in Uruguay and abroad), tax free trade zone corporations, acquisitions, transformations and liquidation of companies, having specialized in corporate matters, accounting and taxation.
